Meth Binge Led to Britney’s Latest Hospitalization: Sources

While the first source may give you pause, it seems at least two other sources indicate that a) Britney is addicted to meth, b) that's what led to her hospitalization.

The Enquirer says it has exclusive info that prior to Thursday's latest foray to the hospital, Britney was on a 24-hour meth jag. The source also stated that the reason for the binge was ironic - she was trying to stay awake because she was worried that if she fell asleep, her family would "drag her off to a mental institution."

Britney Spears Rushed To Hospital Again

For the second time this month, Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Early Thursday morning (January 31), according to reports in the Los Angeles Times, Spears, 26, was physically removed from her home by police and put into an ambulance at around 1 a.m., then escorted to the UCLA Medical Center by a phalanx of more than a dozen motorcycle officers, two police cruisers and two police helicopters.
